Italian Ambassador’s Dinner
The 4th Italian Ambassador’s Dinner Ambasciata d’Italia ad Abu Dhabi – Embassy of Italy in Abu Dhabi at Cafe Milano in the Four Seasons Hotel opened the 2nd Italian cuisine in the world week and the second leg of th 9th Italian cuisine world Summit.
Ambassador Stellino and many members of the diplomatic missions in Abu Dhabi welcomed the superlative dinner prepared by Vincenzo Candiano (Locanda Don Serafino, Ragusa Ibla**), Enrico Gerli (I Castagni, Vigevano*), Paolo Gramaglia (President, Pompei*), Franco Sangiacomo (Cafe Milano Washington D. C./Abu Dhabi).
A special award was given during the night by Rosario Scarpato and chef Donato De Santis on behalf of the Summit, to Umberto Bernardo, the deputy ambassador who last night left his post the UAE to start to work in Russia. His contribution to the promotion of Italian cuisine in the years he was in the UAE has been outstanding.
